Outreach

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:35&36 (NIV)

The word outreach can be defined as “an act of reaching out to our neighbor or community”. St. Mark provides members with ministry opportunities to serve in various outreach activities. Our goal is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the overwhelming love of God, as well as rendering good works to those in need. There are countless individuals who are waiting for God’s people to reach out with compassion and a smile, conveying to them that they are not forgotten.
