Steps to Salvation

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

It is God’s will for you to accept His Son, Jesus and be saved. Follow these simple steps:

First, we must hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible states, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”. (Romans 10: 17)

Second, one must believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:16).  Jesus said: “….except ye believe that I am he, ye shall die in you sins”. (John 8:24)
Third, one must repent of his sins in order to be saved (Acts 17:30-31).  As Jesus taught, repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. (Luke 24:47)
Fourth, one must confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
Congratulations! You have made the most important decision an individual can make in life.

Now it is important for you to join the body of Christ, which is The Church! The purpose of the local church is designed to give Christians the experience of walking together and carrying out the work of Christ. (Acts 2:41;47)

Water Baptism is a symbolic outward sign of the inward work that Christ is doing in an individual’s life. We consider baptism to be a victorious moment in the Christian’s life. “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved”. (Mark 16:16)

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation. The promise of the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.
